Obama Defies Supreme Court with New HHS Mandate "Rule"

The 'rule' only provides relief to those employed by religious houses of worship.

While the mandate includes a narrow religious exemption for houses of worship and their affiliated organizations, many faith-based groups – such as soup kitchens, hospitals and schools – do not qualify for the exemption because they are not affiliated with a specific house of worship.

It actually excludes the group who won the protection at SCOTUS.

From Ab Kurtz:

“On initial review of the government’s summary of the regulations, we note with disappointment that the regulations would not broaden the “religious employer” exemption to encompass all employers with sincerely held religious objections to the mandate. Instead, the regulations would only modify the “accommodation,” under which the mandate still applies and still requires provision of the objectionable coverage. Also, by proposing to extend the “accommodation” to the closely held for-profit employers that were wholly exempted by the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Hobby Lobby, the proposed regulations would effectively reduce, rather than expand, the scope of religious freedom.”

Busting the framework of our legal systems is a necessary evil for a tyrant.

The Massachusetts legislature did it here a few months ago with the SCOTUS ruling that a 'buffer zone' in front of an abortion clinic is unconstitutional. Creating a new law that breaks the law takes years to get through the legal system to obtain relief.

Incidentally, I don't watch much television but happened to catch a political ad from 'Warren Tolman' who is running against Martha Coakley. Tolman is quite a piece of work.

The infomercial is an over-caffeinated, highly jigged-up Tolman portraying himself as a superhero for a smorgasbord of dysfunctional women. At the end of the wacko message, he painted prolifers as murderers who will be prosecuted, something like "If you interfere with women's health, you'll be prosecuted. Brookline should never happen again".

First of all, John Salvi was a lunatic, not a prolifer. Prolifers who assemble near abortion clinics to pray and offer money, shelter, supplies and support for a pregnant and woman and her baby had never laid eyes on John Salvi. John Salvi just showed up one day with a gun, walked past them, went into the clinic and open-fired. Salvi had nothing to do with the prolife movement.

Tolman appeared to intentionally malign people who offer food, shelter and supplies to women, as murderers. I cannot get over how insidious his market strategy is, it blew me away.

The con artists are rising out of the rubble like there is no tomorrow!
