Most Terrifying Halloween Costume

Pope Francis Post-Synodal Exhortation

Earlier this week, the Vatican announced Pope Francis will publish a post-synodal exhortation.

The expectation is, Pope Francis will give the appearance priests and bishops have doctrinal authority through a private and confidential nudge-and-wink to unrepentant adultery. He then will advise these individuals be given leadership roles at the parish to show the children how to navigate through the 2000 years of erroneous Catholic doctrine.

The exhortation will give the deceptive appearance his replacement of Christ's suggested practice of confessing and abstaining from sins with his nudge-and-the-wink-track, is infallible teaching.

The Catholic 30 day dump your spouse program and the nudge-and-wink track is about all about helping the children.

They are always helping our children!

I will say once again that theologically, this obstructive course from the absolution of sins could not possibly be applicable to one addiction to sins against the Commandments.

If they're going to de-program the children about the sin of unrepentant adultery in multiple marriages, this is applicable to every form of addiction to sin against the sixth Commandment.

If the Pope Francis nudge-and-wink-program is applicable to sins against the sixth commandment in divorce, how could this discriminatory practice exclude Catholics living together?

What about the virtue of a husband's devotion to the vow of marriage by mercifully taking on a lover when his wife turns into a miserable witch?

Theologically, if they are going to 'walk with' addictions to sex, why not 'drive' get away cars in bank robberies to help the poor in the year of mercy?

Why not 'sit' and smoke a crack pipe!

Christ's Institution of the absolution of our sins wasn't working out for them. It's time to show the children the real leadership of the institution that welcomes unrepentant sin.

In the future, Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton could become "Eucharistic ministers" in a parish near you.

Bruce Jenner could take a role in the Pontifical North American College.

Larry Flint could take over interior decorating of Churches.

When it comes to implied error of Catholic teaching and virtue of immoral affectations and practices of Catholic leaders, the sky is the limit.

I hope he calls the apostolic exhortation to show children how to practice their religion in the face of 2000 years of theology he doesn't have the power to change, "Catholic Friends with Benefits".

You've all no doubt heard Pope Francis is recording and releasing a 'pop rock' album called - get this - "Wake up!"

The Holy Father collaborated with culture of death magazine Rolling Stone. I'm guessing Miley Cyrus was too busy?

Here's the irony of ironies: His latest song is called "Why do the children suffer?"

I can answer that. The same impurity and sin you are feeding them as the cure for their suffering.

If he proceeds on this trajectory, it will of course be the waterloo of his pontificate. Practicing Catholics will be forced to say sunt mala quae libas, ipse venena bibas.

Then the real fun begins.

Pride goeth before the fall.

I wasn't sure what Fr. Z was speaking about when he posted this morning about a lot of tension in blogosphere and advised temperance and prayer.

Lot’s of tension and conflict right now… following the Synod. That brings to mind something about trees and fruit…. what was that quote again?

It's something like good trees don't produce bad fruit and bad trees don't produce good fruit.

We all know what he's talking 'bout!

I later came across Donald McClarey's post about the Voris dust up. I had a better understanding after reading Donald's final paragraph. This is out of character for Donald who is typically a gentleman (like our bear).

Rational, faithful Catholics are not very happy about being Church Militant's bullying of whistleblowers.

The Pope is the problem, not the Catholics articulating the damage he is doing to the people they love. And he knows it.

Michael has been more than good to Boston Catholics and I'm truly sorry to see him making an ass of himself and his ministry.

By claiming the important credentials to articulate theology correctly is a degree in journalism, he is undermining the very Sacraments he claims to be defending.

The properties come from Sacramental Grace. And there is more abundant fruit of that in blogosphere than the Pope's Synod. And again, he knows it. He would be wise to stop shooting the messengers.

Bear nails the attributes of a Catholic evangelist HERE.

Slandered Former Employees of Immaculate Conception School Suing Archdiocese

I was very glad to read these victims were seeking damages from the Archdiocese.

"...although the police and Suffolk prosecutors quickly cleared the janitor of criminal wrongdoing, the Immaculate Conception School’s parish priest was removed by Cardinal Sean O’Malley, the archbishop of Boston, and the school’s principal and a second-grade teacher were forced to resign.

The lawsuits have already begun. Last week, Alison Kelly, the former principal of Immaculate Conception School, filed a $1 million lawsuit against the archdiocese. According to the Boston Globe, “She claims the church forced her to resign in January even though she had immediately reported the parent’s complaints to the pastor in charge of the school.” Claiming that her firing was a “cold, calculated attempt by the Church to do some face-saving at the expense of innocent people,” Ms. Kelly’s attorney told reporters that the archdiocese did not bother with a full investigation into the recent episode because “it served their own aims to appear to be taking quick and decisive action against its employees.” An attorney for the fired teacher plans to file her own lawsuit within the next week."

her firing was a “cold, calculated attempt by the Church to do some face-saving at the expense of innocent people,”

Welcome to the world of Catholic priests.

Here is the pathetic double talk from the Cardinal's communications henchman:

Mr. Donilon assured the reporter that the church observes a “zero-tolerance policy” in efforts to protect children from sexual abuse. Mr. Donilon continued: “All mandated reporters must report suspected or potential child abuse to the appropriate authorities

A 'zero tolerance' is supposed to be predicated upon a credible allegation of sexual abuse.

Going peepee in the potty is not sexual abuse. This why the police and DA did not charge the victim of hysteria with a sex crime.

The Archdiocese can't say things are sex crimes when they are not.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall at a deposition.

1. Has the Cardinal or Donilon ever used a public restroom in a theater, mall, restaurant, airport?
2. Were these incidents reported as suspected sex crimes and zero tolerance applied?
3. Produce the criminal codes and statutes used to determine their allegation a sex crime was committed.
4. What living male above the age of 8 could escape their malicious accusation the use of a rest room is a sex crime?

If something is not a sex crime, the zero tolerance policy is not applicable.

If an allegation is found not credible by law enforcement, evidence exonerates the accused and the zero tolerance policy is not applicable.

Is Pope Benedict to Blame?

Our Bear has a report on another head-scratching Vortex!

I can't say I totally disagree with Mikey and our friends at Church Militant. These people should have been disciplined or defrocked a long time ago. But it was Pope Francis who lined these guys up and has been carrying their torch for close to three years. He was the architect of the synod and owns the outcome.

I am psyched to hear Mike finally articulating the serious nature of the problems with Pope Francis.

Pope Francis synod and the goodness of homosexual acts at the Vatican

The same sociology that surrounded the gay lobbying of the APA in the early '70s is now driving the debate on the goodness of homosexual acts at the Synod. The teachings may not change this year--but the gay community has learned to be patient. They are well funded and highly motivated and will return again next year--and the year after

From the bottom of Mt. Sinai

The Lord is delayed.

Come, let us dance.

The Smell of the Shepherd: The Stink of Deception

"BRUSSELS (KerkNet / Kath Press) - Pope Francis has all the participants of the Synod at the end of the meeting made a gift book in which he explains his views on the episcopate. The publication of the Jesuit working in Rome Diego Fares is titled: "The smell of the shepherd. The bishop, in the opinion of Pope Francis. The title refers to a homily of Pope Francis in which he said that the bishop as shepherd of the flock, the smell of his sheep should have. The foreword was written by the Italian Jesuit Antonio Spadaro, editor of the Jesuit magazine Civilta Cattolica."

But what does it smell like?

Fr. Z has posted his thoughts on the final synod document.

He posted the thoughts of a faithful Catholic that he agreed with and felt was insightful. The faithful Catholic wrote to another Catholic who opined that the Pope brings in theologians to suggest his people embrace immorality and mortal sin because he believes they shouldn't.

We see this peculiar argument from smart, faithful Catholics all over the internet.

I just don't buy these folks truly believe - a pope passing out Playboy magazine and promoting its contents while sitting quietly on the sidelines like he has nothing to do with it, and then when lucid people say here are the reasons this circus is misleading the uncatechized, tell them they are closed-hearted Catholics hiding behind doctrine who will not follow the real Gospel of Christ - is a pope who believes Church teaching and is trying to lead his people to living each day in a state of Sanctifying Grace.

These are not the actions of an individual attempting to lead people to truth, right judgment and Church teaching.

These are the actions of an individual who introduces ideas contrary to truth, right judgment and contrary to Church teaching.

Here is Fr. Z's charitable and truthful response:

Thank you for your thoughtful analysis. However, whenever I read your articles, I am always left with one unanswered question: why do you always suggest, without any evidence whatsoever, that the adapters that placed the Pope in office, and that he has appointed to high positions, and that he has surrounded himself with, are not expressions of the Pope’s mind? The Pope is basically elected by them; the Pope makes them his closest advisers; the Pope appoints them to draft and control important documents; the Pope appoints them to the Synod when bishops’ conferences did not; they claim to speak the Pope’s mind, and he never contradicts them; the Pope severely criticizes the opponents of the adapters, likening them to men with hardened hearts, not alive with the Gospel. The Pope, against the numerical will of the majority of bishops does not clearly close the issues at variance with the adapters. Is it not a logical conclusion to draw to say that the Pope is in fact their man, and that they are the Pope’s men? Why do you refuse to draw the obvious conclusion? Perhaps you know something we do not. If so, you have never said it.

We are heading now into 50-some-odd months of this pontificate in which he has consistently conveyed he believes what Kasper and Marx believe and it is his intention to get Catholics to stop believing in the doctrines of the Church.

The evidence is before us. He has unhinged our loved ones from Church doctrine and latched them onto the heretics he appointed to teach them.

He has been told by millions that this is what is happening in our families, the damage could be irreparable unless he upholds Church teaching and his response was to slander us and line up heretics to produce a deceptive document.

The discernment period has ended. The smell of the shepherd has risen in St. Peter's Square and all I smell is deception.

Did you know Cardinal Danneels Belongs in Devil-Worshiping Masonic Lodge?

http://www.lepantoinstitute.org/uncategorized/satan-must-reign-in-the-vatican-the-pope-will-be-his-slave/

There is nothing like a Mason Bishop who wears vestments symbolizing sodomy and covered up for a pedophile. Just the kind of guy Pope Francis needed to pitch his ideas to children.

Michael Hitchborn is hardly a reactionary.

Catholics are forbidden from Masonic membership because its demonic.  This is the Pope's idea of episcopal leadership.

It takes a lot of guts for a practicing Catholic to express what we all just observed.

Final Synod Document and Pope Francis Deception of It

I am puzzled by practicing Catholics who are saying the final document affirmed Church teaching.

I have no idea what they are talking about.

The document clearly gives pastors the erroneous notion they can acknowledge repetitious mortal sin and obstruct them from absolution and salvation--and give witness to children that Church teaching is subject to their own personal judgments.

I further observed the Pope telling us his use of heretics, his sneakiness and deception, his institution of. 30 day annulment, and the farce of this final document obstructing our people from salvation was his action to strengthen the indissolubility of  the Sacrament of Marriage.

It is the biggest bold-faced lie I have ever experienced from an ordained man.

Claiming this insidious deception was the victorious affirmation of Church teaching is like Charlie Sheen holding a crack pipe between his teeth and his arms around two whores and saying "winning!!"

I have not checked news this morning, but I certainly hope faithful bishops have the spinal fortitude to call out the lie and liars.

Worthy is the Lamb.

Today's Catastrophic Press Conference at Vatican.

WARNING - before you click on this link, it will make you sob. If accurate, Pope Francis has just pulled off a destructive coup obliterating the Catechism of the Catholic Church. I wrote off Michael Matt some time ago but his description of the content of today's press conference is newsworthy:

Here is his ominous description.

The press was told that the old teachings of the Church were not keeping up with the rejection of Commandments against adultery, coveting thy neighbors wife and same`sex sex which they described as no longer taboo in the 'new church' they have configured at the synod. The two effeminate bishops explain that the new church is about re-education of the people of God. They are going to 'educate us' on the latest 'scientific' information on how good it is.

Kindly note how this no-good bishop of beezlebub leads his audience to ridicule and laughter when discussing what he feels is the ridiculousness of abstaining from homosexual sex.

I hope Michael Matt is is exaggerating, but my gut instincts tell me he is reporting what was said.

If accurate, there will be a lot of commotion about the removal of a fraudulent pope but let's wait and see what happens over the course of the next 24-48 hours.

"If this synod were the church, I would say that it's the end of judging people, the end of a church that passes judgment on all the situations," said Belgian Bishop Lucas Van Looy. "It's a church that welcomes, a church that accompanies, a church that listens, a church that also speaks with clarity."

Aren't they nice?

And they are speaking so clearly, clearly I tell you!

If they find out you are not in a state of grace, they are not going to make the judgments necessary to use the power given to them to absolve your sins.

It's the end of the Ten Judgments.

Are you consumed with addictions to heroin? Bring your needles and opiods to Church. You are welcome to pass them out to youth ministry so you will have company. Because real love is about accompaniment. If you've got a good batch of dope, bring the loaded needles up to Communion and they will pin one on it for you so you will mistake it as something condoned by Christ. A witness to innocent children that shooting up is holy once they hang the Blessed Sacrament upon it and they should join you so you will not be alone.

Got a problem with lust? Bring your boy toys and eye candy to Church and father will bless your lust with the Blessed Sacrament.

They will charm the pants right off of you.

Thank you Pope Francis for helping us with our families!

They seem to have resurrected the idea there is some kind of 'internal forum' where priests and bishops obstruct you from the Sacrament of Confession with verbal approval your pattern of repetitious sins.

This is the 'merciful' forum they used to enable priest pedophiles. Look how well that turned out for everyone.

A disgusting display of the state of Christ's royal priesthood.

Is there not one shepherd with the spinal fortitude to walk out on a demonic circus?

Pope Francis "Fails to Persuade" Christ's Church to Accept Adultery, Sodomy, Polygamy

This article captures the magnitude of damage Pope Francis has done for decades that lie ahead.

Here's the synopsis.

Poor Pope Francis tried so hard to bring Christ's Church out of the dark ages of resisting temptation and abstaining from sin, and it's a bust. It is not a complete defeat, as he has undermined the Church enough to get enough traction in minds and souls for a victory in the future.

Barring a miracle, damage done to the people we love is close to irreparable. I read a quote from one of the rats on the ship about the intentional damage to minds and souls that I found shocking:

"Now, with the pope's giving more power to the bishops for annulments I think the next step could be letting bishops take responsibility also for training the consciences of people,"

This hit me between the eyes. It was a stunning confession. Pope Francis' initiative is about deprogramming the consciences of the people we love.

They are smothering and strangling the instincts of rightly-ordered soul through the brainwashing of consciences and they are not even ashamed to admit it.

This dangerous cretin has revealed that the pushback and threat of schism caused a retreat:

I don't think we're ready yet to have a consensus on this matter, and it would be not good to have the Synod divided on this matter at the moment

He also revealed that Cardinal Meuller put the kibosh on severing us from the Body of Christ with a question that stumped them:

"There is one basic question being raised every now and then, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the faith studied it: Do the bishops' conferences have theological status or not?" he continued.

"The answer was no.."

It took them three weeks to answer this no-brainer question.

Pope Francis talked about practicing Catholics in his homily.

There's a new insult:

“We have this freedom to judge whatever is happening around us. But in order to judge, we must have a good knowledge of that is happening around us. And how can we do this? How can we do this, which the Church calls ‘recognizing the signs of the times?’ Times are changing. And it’s precisely Christian wisdom that recognizes these changes, recognizes the changing times and recognizes the signs of the times. What one thing and another thing means. And do this freely, without fear.”

Pope Francis conceded that this is not an easy thing to do on account of the external conditioning that pressures Christians as well, encouraging many of them to seek comfort in doing nothing.

“This is something that we usually don’t do: we stick with conformity, we reassure ourselves with (words like) ‘they told us, I heard, people said they read….’ In this way we are reassured. But what is the truth? What is the message that the Lord wants to give me with this sign of the times? First of all, in order to understand the signs of the times we need silence: to be silent and observe. And afterwards we need to reflect within ourselves. One example: why are there so many wars nowadays? Why did something happen? And pray… silence, reflection and prayer. It’s only in this way that we can understand the signs of the times, what Jesus wants to tell us.”

In the face of great temptation, if you fly unto the Sacraments to use the mystical properties of Divinity to help you resist temptation, you teach your children to do the same and take heroic efforts to stop his administration from deprogramming their conscience - you are a do-nothing.

Admittedly, there were many decades when practicing Catholics did nothing.

The glory days when prelates could rape and rob our children of their salvation and we did nothing.

I hope the past year has demonstrated that the times they are a changing.

US Heretic Rag Claims Final Synod Document Guides Souls to "Question" Church Teaching

One of the ten prelates responsible for drafting the final document from the ongoing Synod of Bishops on family has said that while it may not give solutions to all the questions discussed by the gathering, it will give good direction to Pope Francis for future decisions.

Indian Cardinal Oswald Gracias said that the document "will not have all the answers, but it will have a direction."

"The questions will be clear," said Gracias, speaking at a press briefing Thursday. "The answers will not be so clear."

The stink of the deception of the demons is overwhelming.

Bishop Cupich Claims Sacrament of Confession is About Eyelashes, Not Absolution of Sins

As if you needed more evidence Bishop Cupich is an eejit, this week he claimed the Sacrament of Confession did not intend for priests absolve sins.

He has cracked a code.

"We use that word “reconciliation” all the time. It doesn’t mean about giving people forgiveness. It comes from an anatomical root, namely the eyelash, it is called a cilia. So you begin to see eye-to-eye with people.”

Get it?

There is no forgiveness going on. The word 'cilia' means eyelashes which means the sinner is supposed to talk the priest into breaking commandments.

Explains the synod!

Fr. Z debunks HERE.

It would appear Bishop Cupich does not intend what the Church intends, which I believe would make that Sacrament invalid.

Here's looking at you kid.

Good Article on the Danger Ahead

Rorate's post HERE is required reading!

This is the kind of priest the sitting pope has unchained and unleashed and led into our homes and families.

I saw a headline today that said Could the Pope tear apart the Church.

He has jockeyed himself into a position to do much better than tear the Mystical Body of Christ apart. He can inflict the mortal wounds that lead to Death.

And the most painful part of the process is acknowledging the spiritual homicide happens to the people we love, in our homes, families. He is ripping them from the tools of salvation and introducing them to their new leaders gog and magog. He is alienating them and I do not see how we could ever recover them. He has forever caricatured the Deposit of Faith, and those who practice it, as an error he tried to fix.

Even if this attempt to dismember Christ's Body is a miserable failure, he will forever be remembered as the pope who couldn't formally introduce sodomy. adultery and polygamy, but institutionalized the nudge and the wink.

As Michael is reporting HERE, many are now acknowledging the papacy is a failure.

So now, the Pope is caught — thanks to those around him — and appears to have very little room to maneuver. A pope who is hemmed in on all sides is the growing perception here in Rome and the reason for the observation on the part of sources in the Vatican that he would only receive 10 votes if the conclave were held today.

There is even much talk from all quarters that, following up on his own prediction last year, the Pope may resign at some point next year — something impossible to confirm. It might still be too early to make a call on whether this papacy is a failed one or not, but for faithful Catholics, one thing is certain: We must always love and pray for the Holy Father who is besieged on so many sides.

He is right about the prayers.

There are so many things I could repeat saying. Suffice it to say the idea the mafia has roped a dope of a pope just doesn't make sense to me at all. Janet hits the nail on the head HERE.

Here are the facts:

1. Pope Francis deliberately skirted elections of drafting committee to circumvent faithful bishops from defending doctrine in final.

2. The Holy Father then deliberately appointed bishops who are well-known for misleading their own flock to draft the relatio.

These two deliberate actions could lead to no other conclusion but the following:

3. Appointees have disclosed they intend to guide souls to polygamy, sodomy and adultery in local loci.

There was no other possible conclusion. He knew enough to obstruct faithful bishops from participating in the conclusion. There is no other place to go with it.

Reports of the retreat of heretics at the Synod

I'd love to feel as hopeful as our faithful bishops who are reporting an abandonment of heresy, but I just don't believe these men are going to give up their life-long dream of bastardizing teaching that leads to salvation.

I love this quote from the LMS Chairman's blog.

I would strongly suggest to all Catholics that, if the conservatives at the Synod declare victory, we should congratulate them heartily, and then start digging an air-raid shelter in the garden.

Unless the Holy Father retreats on his expressed wishes to deceive the people about the power of bishops to contradict Church teaching in every diocese, this is going to become a local battle, until the smoke rises again in St. Peter's Square.

There is however, good news to report.

Get your hankies ready: The Germans are reporting they are 'sad and dismayed'.

Cry us a river.

Additionally, and this conspiracy needs our prayers, a very peculiar allegation surfaced that the Pope has a curable brain tumor, which is being caricatured as groundwork to claim his judgment may be seriously impaired, in the event he suggests something heretical.

Yes folks, there is yet another hermeneutic. The "hermeneutic of suspicion".

They are suspicious all right.

This is a very serious matter, and everyone is this reum is under the suspicions.

Populist Pontiff to Let Bishops Make Their Own Doctrine

So says the Boston Herald in this article!

The whole article is way out there.

But here's the funny part -- one is hard pressed to produce evidence it isn't true!

As Cardinal Arinze explains here, the pope doesn't have the authority to grant such powers to episcopal conferences - basically debunking the Pope's claim that he does.

Some at the synod have talked about allowing decisions on the divorced and remarried or on homosexuality to be decentralized, made at the level of regional or national bishops’ conferences or by individual bishops. How do you feel about that?

Are you going to tell me that we can have a national bishops’ conference in one country that would approve something which, in another conference, would be seen as sin? Is sin going to change according to national borders? We’d become national churches. Have there not been other religious affiliations in the world that came dangerously near to that?

National bishops’ conferences are important and should have a clear role, [a very limited role, perhaps] but I don’t think it should include these areas. It looks dangerously like nationalizing right and wrong.

Another link to Cardinal Arinze's rejection of Pope Francis' idea is HERE.

This is going to get ugly!

The Episcopal Two-Digit IQ Club Divulge Motives of Pope Francis' Sin-Nod.

I'm sure by now, each TTC reader has heard a sermon at their own parish or read an article or bulletin locally, that is fruit of the heretical synod in Rome.

But I think this one might take first place blue ribbon.

The diocesan article featured quotes from the Bishop's two-digit IQ club: Bishop George V. Murry, SJ, of Youngstown, OH, and Archbishop Martin of Dublin, Ireland, which give away the plot to destroy our children's salvation.

They said people committing adultery can't come to Church when there are people in the pews who are not breaking commandments. They explained they can't let Catholics be faithful because we alienate people who want to break commandments.

Many of them, he said, will disagree with the church’s teaching on morality, but Catholics cannot be faithful to the Gospel while allowing “these new families to continue to be alienated from the church.”

As God is my witness, this statement finally put another piece of the puzzle together for me.

It finally explained to me why they are so vicious and nasty to practicing Catholic families. They don't want us to be faithful.

They don't want people to confess and have their sins absolved because the absolution of sins makes people stop coming to Church.

And, they are gathered in Rome and executing plans because they can't let us do it anymore.

God forgive me, but, I honestly believe if we had money to hire a private detective to tail these wolves, we'd get rid of half of them in 30 days.

Is Pope Francis Executing "Voice of the Faithful" Democratic/Counterfeit Church?

When 'voice of the faithful' was setting up its headquarters here in Boston many moons ago (which I spoke about here), they had a Visio diagram of what they called a 'democratic church'. It was carefully thought out, with many levels that essentially separated Catholics from the Catechism and Sacraments, dismantled the Vatican and wherein the deposit of faith was developed by vote in town hall-ish meetings where all ideas were in play.

There were no authoritative moderators in this model. Nobody in the room to say "just a minute there sonny-boy, that idea is a heresy".

No distinction between God's ideas and the devils. Ideas were presented and they were voted upon at every level.

There was a component that focused on Catholic education which some wealthy donors in the Democratic party with ties to Boston College were spearheading. Jack Connors was involved with the plan which essentially was people with money told the Cardinal what could be taught in Catholic schools and the Cardinal took the money taught whatever the wealthy people said he could teach. Or not teach. (Cardinal O'Malley helped Jack Connors get this fully implemented in Boston.)

There was a political component that involved communists (starting in Cuba). This was a pet project of...wait for it...Jack Connors! (Cardinal O'Malley helped Jack Connors get this ball rolling too. Roped-a-dope-of-a-pope.)

Many times in this pontificate, I have observed and heard Pope Francis and said to myself "This looks/sounds/walks like that sleazy little diagram circulated by Voice of the Faithful."

I probably have a copy in my 'church' library of documents in my basement!

When they passed it out, they would sometimes go into a creepy semi-trance and repeatedly chant the phrase "we need safe places" (which I later found out came from the gay community). Sometimes, they would even call the meeting "we need safe places".

I have been especially conscience of this diagram over the course of the last year during the 'synod' process when they were acting like they had the power to vote on doctrine--while deceptively pretending their proposed changes were not changes to doctrine.

Take today for instance, when I found this post over at Fr. Z's reporting the Pope explaining he wants to transform the papacy into a 'synodal church' of the... voice of the "faithful".

You can tell Fr. Z is steaming under the collar as he translates the Holy Father's words. LOL.

The sensus fidei prevents a rigid separation between the Teaching Church and the Learning Church, since even the possesses its knack (sense of smell, sniffing out ability- fiuto) to discern the new paths that the Lord is opening up to the Church.

It was this conviction that guided me when I prayed that the People of God would be consulted in the preparation of the twin synodal meeting on the family

You know what the Holy Father's problem might be? When he sniffs something, he can't tell when he's smelling roses or poopoo.

Let me tell you the people of God who Pope Francis didn't consult.

Parents who have been burdened by priests who have told two generations of Catholics that it is ok to sleep around, commit sodomy, live together, use contraception and a hierarchy that doesn't give a flying fig about it.

There are a couple of million of us. Yet, strangely, our voices are not among the faithful telling the bishops what the problem actually is, and what kind of support our families need from our priests and bishops and pope. Each time a bishop tried to represent us, they got a ride on the end of the Pope's shoe.

Fr. Z also translates the Pope's idea to disassemble the Holy See, and as Fr. Z says, this is where the real fireworks begin.

He intends to weaken, if not gut, the Roman Curia...He then goes on about the Petrine ministry in a Synodal Church and repeats the phrase “una conversione del papato … a conversion (in the sense of “transformation”) of the papacy”.

Our gaze extends also to humanity...a world which...often consigns the destiny of entire populations into the greedy hands of restricted groups of the powerful. As a Church that “walks together” with men, participates in the travails of history, let us cultivate the dream that the rediscovery of the inviolable dignity of peoples and the exercise of service of authority will be able to help also civil society to be built upon justice and on fraternity

TADA!

Folks, the verdict of the jury is in: We've got a real nutter on our hands.

And here is the kicker: The Holy Father also seems to be proclaiming the outcome of this insidious circus is binding.

If you have not signed the petition asking the bishops to walk out of this counterfeit structure, today might be a good day to do so. Link HERE.

UPDATE:

I recommend today's Russ Douthat's NYT article on Pope Francis' plot to overthrow the Catholic Church as required reading!

As is Fr. Ray Blake's observations on the smoke of satan materializing before our eyes.

If Pope Francis truly believes he can produce a document contradicting Church teaching and dismantling Christ's Church and he has the "last word", his theological problems are not his only flaw. He is suffering from a fatal misunderstanding of the hand that rocks the cradle. This is clearly a harvest between the angelic and demonic and the role of the baptized is to make the distinction between good and evil to those being led into temptation and sin.

Has he seriously impacted our efficacy?

Undoubtedly, he has. But the onus for that millstone must be tied around his own neck. It will be sad news for his papacy and the Church, but we will rise to the occasion, as many saints have done in the past.

It sure is looking like he's going to do it, but I don't know if he actually will. He could end the stupidity by ratifying Church teaching and telling his see they must follow. There are many reasons why this is not likely. Chiefly, one does not build a megaphone in St. Peter's Square and surround our families with heretics that tell us the God of surprises has caught up with the sexual revolution and now loves sins and silences virtue.

Should he do so, the 'last words' in the family will pin a tail on his backside, place long pointy ears upon his head and point out his great big wolf teeth ready to devour.

Bishops 'pastoral' plan to obstruct and undermine Sacrament of Absolution

From the Schismatic Reporter:

Amid 93 speeches Wednesday and Thursday by the some 270 prelates at the ongoing Oct. 4-25 Synod of Bishops, many reportedly referred to that question and expressed widely differing views.

One key issue: whether there could be any possibility for divorced and remarried people to take on some sort of “penitential path” that would eventually allow them to receive the Eucharist.

A penitential path that absolves sins other than the Sacrament of Confession, separation, pursuing Pope Francis quickie Catholic divorce and entering into a Sacramental marriage?

How does Pope Francis reconcile the theology that this 'penitential path' could only be applicable to one or two types of sleeping around and not sins against all ten commandments?

The curiosity is killing me.

Why wouldn't a rapist be able to continue to rape without walking on 'some sort of penitential path that would eventually allow them to receive the Eucharist'?

As the pastoral letter written by 13 bishops, which the Pope ridiculed, confirms, such a path would cause the collapse of entire doctrine on sins against every commandment and Sacramental absolution and Salvation.

The deliberate deception of our people by prelates under the influence of the devil indicates they live their own lives walking a 'penitential path' right past the Confessional.

Thank God for the nuns and priests whose instruction led us to the absolution of our sins and the reception of Sanctifying Grace. If they had tried to implement this thirty years ago, when I was walking past the Confessional and Sanctifying Grace, I was easy pickins to follow them into the pit.

This post at Rorate is highly recommended reading.

To think we have another ten days of 'help' from these blaggarts is not edifying!

Petitoning Faithful Synod Fathers to Walk Out of Heretical Circus Lying to and Deceiving Our Children

I didn't write about the petition at first because I wanted to give it prayerful thought. After doing so, I am very much in favor of signing the petition which can be found HERE.

I know our friends at Church Militant are skeptical about signing this petition but life cannot go on as usual and customary.

I would imagine synod fathers would think it too soon to make a judgment about whether to walk out of what has been a theological insane asylum. But, if a single heresy gets planted into a final document and they are asked to rubber stamp it as a product of their vocation, I should think walking out will be the sole option on the table.

The seriousness of what the Holy Father is asking them to deliver to our families, and the destruction it would burden the family with, would certainly require us to tell our children the pope is anathema. Walking out of the synod is a manifestation of the fractures the Pope himself has foisted upon every aspect of our family.

The Holy Father is on day 10 of offering Catholic families heresy and division.

He's helping us all out.

It was reported that some interventions in the Synod Assembly made it clear that admitting remarried people to the Eucharist would not be an "indiscriminate process" but a carefully structured one. Divorce must always be seen as a tragedy for the family. The Church should not punish those who are weak but find ways of helping them. Many of the interventions underlined that it was not a doctrinal change that was sought but a change in pastoral attitude.

Archbishop Retes said that the Holy Father has shown the Church what attitude we should have: that of mercy towards everyone. He said that this was the mission of the Church and, in the family, people should “taste” the love of God.

Surely this would be applicable to married men with mistresses and pedophiles. What about people living together and the tragedy of incestuous relationships.

In this peculiar quote, Cardinal Dolan explains that the Holy Father believes intellectual dishonesty and heresy is chicken soup for children's souls.

Dolan said he has come to believe that Pope Francis’ Ignatian spirituality leads him to believe that “a mess, confusion, questions are a good thing

Yes, yes. There is nothing than a Pope who deprives the family of clarity in truth. That's what I always say.

The Holy Father has plenty of other commandments available to confuse his people.

What about a robust discussion on telling lazy people they don't have to make holy the Sabbath?

What about telling people who want the money in their neighbors wallet to steal it?

How about some lively discussions about mercy killings?

I can't stand these freekin idiots!

Court rules the trespassers at St. Frances Cabrini are trespassing.

No kidding Sherlock!

Exhausting every canonical and legal venue, they are scheduled to "speak" about the 'trespass' ruling today.

A word to the wise to the luminaries at the Archdiocese:

1. Call a locksmith to the locus.
2. Call the police to the locus to evict them.
3. As soon as they are out of the building, change all of the locks.

Changing the locks is something that should have been done years ago. Dragging this out has been damaging to everyone involved in the controversy.

They think 'delaying the closure' was a victory. All they did was let the cravenness of the Archdiocese deprive them of valid sacraments.

It's time to put on the big boy pants and call the police to evict them. Next week, they'll go to Mass and have access to the Sacraments they so desperately need.

UPDATE:

The trespasser held a news conference today to ask for 'mercy' after eviction is upheld in the Court of Appeals.

“Pope Francis has introduced the year of mercy,” said Maryellen Rogers, a spokesperson for the Friends along with her husband, Jon. “Mercy is very dear to the Pope. We ask Cardinal O’Malley for mercy. This church is very important. The people of this community have dedicated their hearts and souls.”

Oh, they've 'dedicated' their hearts and souls all right. To a pile of bricks. When they moved the Body of Christ, these folks weren't interested in 'dedicating' themselves to His Body and Blood.

They're clinging to and crying over wooden benches. Christ left the building eleven years ago and they do not have the cognizance to recognize what they're doing.

If anyone in the archdiocese knew what mercy really was, they would send the police down to enforce the eviction order and set these poor individuals free from their attachments to carpets and wood or they will hole themselves up for another ten years.

Call the police or file a contempt and let the courthouse threaten to jail them and perhaps they will leave themselves. I doubt it. Plan it at 2 or 3 am when reporters are sleeping and there are a handful of people or less.

Is Pope Francis Leading the Counterfeit Synod at His Residence?

A mysterious photograph has surfaced of a spurious cast of characters sitting in a meeting with Pope Francis as his residence.

Some say that the Holy Father himself is holding a “shadow Synod” at his residence, Santa Marta.

When was the last time any parent of good faith made plans for their children's salvation and rounded up the heretics to help you architect the plan?

As the highest ranking father of Christ's family, I can just imagine the intellectual processing that ends with surrounding yourself with heretics to advise you.

step 1: Your goal is to get as many people possible into living every day maintaining a state of Sanctifying Grace.

step 2: You think about what kind of ideas you want to employ and you look for people who have expertise in those ideas.

step 3: You select people who have been telling your family to sleep around with whoever and whatever you want because the Church loves breaking commandments.

step 4: When other people start pointing out the reasons why these ideas can't be used, you say no me interesso un cazzo and you pick up the heresy where you left off.

It makes perfect sense.

And when they get hungry, he puts porta-potties on the dining room table and passes out matches.

We are not as stupid as we look!

Fr. Rosica emphasizes stunning claim made by synod 'father' that God created and planned our booty calls.

At one of the sex-obsessed press conferences after a synod session, this idea was right up Fr. Rosica's alley:

Synod: “The distinction between sin and sinner no longer works”

At the midday press conference organized by the Vatican press office, Father Thomas Rosica emphasized this statement made by a Synodal Father during Saturday’s discussion on the third part of the Instrumentum laboris...This sentence had already been highlighted by the rapporteur in Italian which brought in substance: The differentiation between sin and sinner no longer works because sexuality is an integral part of the person....The distinction between the person and the act is indeed a classic theology and Catholic morality; we are invited to “love the person and hate the sin.”

It is a distinction increasingly challenged because to hate sin is tantamount to stigmatizing those who commit it, not to say that homosexual act according to their “nature” as explained Mgr. Charamsa.

After God gave us brown eyes and hair and gender, he cooked up a scheme about how He wanted us to sin through the Divine gift of human sexuality. He planned our booty calls.

Consequently, the church needs to love sin.

Get it?

This explains their conduct with the pedophiles doesn't it?

Stupidity like this is not of human origin!

Bishop Walk Out is Finally Verbalized

The ultimate disGrace has finally been verbalized at the Synod: Talks about bishops walking out of Pope Francis Synod have commenced.

Laurence asks out loud, perhaps for the first time, though I bet not the last: Given that you all are clearly being used to further an anti-Christian agenda, perhaps it’s time to “consider shaking the dust off their feet and leaving the Synod Hall.”

It would appear the option of staying and participating has been taken off of the table by the Pope himself. He has consistently shut down bishops faithful to Church teaching and the thing has spun out of control.

As we watch this play out, one is continually reminded that the Holy Father thinks he is helping and supporting Catholic families.

I'm thinking maybe he got his ideas from how Bruce Jenner helped fatherhood.

I guess should be relieved the kaspersian savages are not able to tie faithful bishops up and burn them at the stake in St. Peter's Square.

I'd like to see Frs. Lombardi and Rosica spin a walk out, wouldn't you?

Speaking of the duo, do you remember the priest who told Bishop Durocher conciliarism is a heresy?

Fr. Lombardi announced Pope Francis revoked his press credentials after 15 years of service!

Apparently, the only opinions Catholics are not free to express in the Church are those that belong to the magisterium.

Bishops Letter Expressing Suffocation at Synod Ignored by Pope Francis

The letter sent by thirteen (eleven?*) Cardinals, all of whom are present at the Synod (this is important, since so many Cardinals were deliberately excluded or as kept away as possible from the Synod body because they disagree with the German view that is clearly favored by the Pope), contained specific complaints about the suffocating procedure put in place in order to ensure a specific result.

Here is a shocker: Cardinal Dolan signed the letter.

I kept looking and looking and I didn't see Cardinal O'Malley's name!

Edward Pentin sure is being vindicated, eh?

Looks like the leak originally came from Damian.

Take the time to read.

I am not ascribing this to any particular individual because I have no knowledge of what is going down, but the activity at the synod is definitely demonic. Definitely.

Synod Day 6:The Rats are on a Feeding Frenzy

Rorate has a surreal report on day 6 of the Synod.

As I was reading it, it reminded me of a scene in the movie "Ben" when thousands of rats entered the house and began clawing, tearing and eating everything in it.

Cardinal Tinkle is suggesting Pope Francis is contemplating forbearing a final Relatio. Perhaps he is reading the nearly unanimous opinion that Christendom intends to formally pin accountability for the heresy upon him at that juncture, and he doesn't have the chutzpah to let it define his papacy. The legacy of joining the ranks of a handful of heretics in a 2000 year history is not as glamorous as John Allen tries to make it. Why publish the proof that would be recorded in historical documents when you can spend the rest of your papacy pretending you have nothing to do with the circus you have organized and executed?

There are a over a million Catholics, including priests and bishops, who have gone on record saying they will not subject their families to a pied piper luring them into adultery and counterfeit doctrine. When this all started, most well-heeled Catholics were quietly expressing concerns and reservations but were reluctant to discuss their concerns in the public square. As time passes and the deceivers the Pope has empowered execute the plans, I'm finding more people now willing to go on record.

But in this particular case, we will have to conclude that the hypothetical pro-Kasper papal document is in fact false and unorthodox, for it will contradict Scripture and two millennia of Tradition by saying that some persons Our Lord describes as adulterers may nevertheless receive sacramental absolution without any purpose of amendment and then go to Holy Communion.

So instead of becoming part of authentic magisterial teaching, this new document, if it is issued, will have to be resisted and openly rejected by faithful Catholics as a monumental papal error.

As the magnitude of resistance surfaces, what lucid pope would want to put their name on the can of worms?

Rorate is also reporting that the rats are refusing to yield the floor to Relator-General Cardinal Erdo and have hijacked the agenda and turned it into a lavender mafia convention.

This Rorate report describes Cardinal Baldiserri actually removing presentations faithful to Catholic Doctrine.

The deceptive nature of the excuses for heresy is the same old story:

According to another synod father, “mercy toward sinners is not a form of weakness nor an abandonment of Church teaching.”

I guess they are pretending they've been teaching moral theology all these years. It's a good thing the process doesn't subject them to producing evidence of their lecherous fallacies.

The idea the synod has been rigged is preposterous. Preposterous I tell you.

Maybe instead of a final document that incriminates him, the plan is to just tell bishops conferences they have the power to contradict Church teaching in their see with 'pastoral' policies.

If you want your polygamy, you can keep your polygamy.

If you want your sodomy, you can keep your sodomy.

Disenfranchising the power given to St. Peter has been a long-time goal of ordained apostates.

If the Holy Father is looking for a synod hermeneutic, I just so happen to have one handy.

We've had 50 years of priests luring the people we love into adultery. Some of them slept with them themselves. You are empowering these people to come back to the parish and do it to another generation with your pastoral license in their hands. Do not expect us to respond like the poor victims of ephebophiles who sat silent on the sidelines as they destroyed their loved ones. Whether intentional or non-intentional, the results of your circus are in and you own it.

The Pilot has been outdone!

Oakland's Diocesan newspaper says homosexual sex isn't sinful.

Someone ought to put private detective on this priest and his bishop too.

It's the weekend fellas. Give it a rest.

Bishops say Synod Working Document is a Piece of PooPoo

The document — officially called an instrumentum laboris — also fell short, “especially in its theology, clarity, trust in the power of grace, its use of Scripture and its tendency to see the world through overwhelmingly Western eyes,” the bishops said Friday.

Other than that Mrs Kennedy, how was the parade?

The news seems to be all good today, as the National katholic distorter reported that the bishops also concluded that they have no idea how the Pope thinks the public expressions of apostate bishops is helpful to families trying navigate their loved ones through this unprecedented period of diabolical disorientation.

Here's today's first place blue ribbon for stupidity: Cardinal Tagle said it's good for bishops to confuse their flocks because if Church teaching is taught with clarity, they might not be living real lives.

And with those crystal clear instructions, Irish Bishop Eamon Martin did us all proud.

"Like Vatican II, this Synod needs to be a language-event, which is more than cosmetic," they stated. "We need to speak of marriage and the family in new ways, which has implications on both the macro and micro level, as it does on both the local and universal level."

Families experiencing countless heretic priests teaching our kids sleeping around is virtue have a really helpful tool with that pearl of wisdom.

Martin's idea added the Midas touch to his group:

That group also says they were conscious of a "danger of lapsing into an idealized, removed and disembodied sense of family, which may have its own beauty and internal coherence but which can end up inhabiting a somewhat bloodless world rather that the real world of families in all their variety and complexity."

Living in chastity and state of Sanctifying Grace, eating & drinking the Blood of Christ and absorbing it's Divine Properties is a fake and bloodless life. We are in danger of lapsing into the ideal role model of the disembodied Holy Family.

They articulated they were going to create heretical policies to guide by region at the bishop conference level. I think some of the Africans want to approve polygamy. All I can say about that is, you give it all you've got fellas. The hand that rocks the cradle have girded their loins and we are waiting to see the whites of your eyes.

Finally, thank God for this African bishop who gave a good kick in the backside to Fr. Rosica's gay press conferences.

All in all, other great day!

Synod Day 4: Pope Intervenes with Condenscending Screed

Pope Francis is urging the bishops gathered for the Vatican Synod on the Family not to give in to “conspiracy” theories, after 13 cardinals and bishops expressed their concern that the assembly is being manipulated in a progressive direction.

A little dig at Pentin. He should be proud of himself!

You may not like to have the facts articulated in the public square, but Catholics and parents complaining "a" Holy Father is appointing and surrounding our families heretics and apostates isn't a 'conspiracy theory', sir.

Anymore than Christian ethnic cleansing by the muslims is a conspiracy theory.

It just is what it is. Put your big boy pants on and take ownership of what you're doing.

UPDATE!

You have to love the internet!

The Vatican responded to the dust up over the Holy Father's use of the word 'conspiracy' to discredit Catholics who renounce the heretical circus he is hosting.

At first Fr. Lombardi, no doubt in the spirit of transparency they are always yapping about, calibrated Pope Francis' remarks without the condescending 'conspiracy' caricature.

Fr. Lombardi had to revisit his statement when some prelate tweeted what was said by the Holy Father.

Lombardi confirmed Thursday that the pope sorta kind did use the word but said he wasn't obliged to make everything everyone says public.

The dispute underscored what veteran Vatican watcher John Allen called the "dirty little secret" of reporting on the synod: Journalists aren't allowed inside, and must rely on Vatican spokesmen or the participants themselves to recount after the fact what was said.

I'm afraid THAT isn't the only 'dirty little secret'!

Lombardi often consults with Francis or his secretaries about what to reveal about the pope's private conversations, and Francis has been adamant in insisting that the synod is a "protected" space where bishops should feel free to express themselves.

Sure, because the idea that every insult he hurls at faithful Catholics and every heresy encouraged will not leak never occurred to him!

Synod Day 3: Fr. Lombardi appears to be running a gay press conference each day. I'm starting to smell a rat.

Remember last week when Fr. Lombardi made a curious statement contradicted everything we knew about the Holy Father's meeting with Davis, and it all strangely appeared like Fr. Lombardi could be a mouthpiece controlling Pope Francis' talking points at the bequest of the Roman lavender mafia?

I came across this story today about another strange press conference he orchestrated with Bishop Paul-Andre Durocher, Archbishop Claudio Maria Celli and Fr. Rosica that lasted an hour and a half.

You'll remember yesterday, Durocher made all kinds of statements that were wacked out.

Yet, here is Fr. Lombardi:

a) not reporting what faithful bishops said
b) reporting what unfaithful bishops said

It also turns out Bishop Durocher helped to author the 2014 Relatio leaving in heresies voted out.

Later today, our friends at pewsitter had this link to the excommunicated 'new ways' ministry reporting that Fr. Lombardi is having a gay press conference with Fr. Rosia EVERY DAY.

Here in Rome, the synod is basically a closed event. No reporters or the general public are allowed into the meeting room where the bishops are having their discussions. But every day at 1:00 p.m., the Vatican spokesperson, Father Federico Lombardi, is joined by international staff (including English speaker Father Thomas Rosica, CSB) and a few of the synod participants, to explain what transpired since the day before.

In the press conference, Durocher made the astounding claim that doctrine on adultery being a mortal sin could be framed as 'a discipline' and consequently changed, so that people committing adultery could be admitted to the Eucharist.

A real piece of work.

And get this:

“To be quite honest, there might be differences of opinion”

Yeah. Your opinion is different than the theology of Christ's Church.

The word "honest" is farcical.

A person running communications for a pope, in good faith, would not use this individual to articulate theology of Christ's Church.

Something stinks and it smells like a big smelly rat.

As an aside, Fr. Z has a completely different angle than I do of the Pope's interventions. He thinks the Pope was trying to throw Cardinal Erdo under the bus.

Very interesting.

UPDATE:

Fr. Z and Edward Pentin are also getting a smelly smell from Fr. Lombardi's manipulative press conferences.

Synod Day 2 Strangest Darn Thing I Ever Saw!

A synod is supposed to be a discussion about how faithful priests and bishops have been teaching and sanctifying, the effects of lousy catechesis, how to stop priests and bishops from doing a stinky job.

Some of the reports I've read reveal bishops who think the discuss is a democratic process that changes Church teaching.

Church Militant reported one bishop suggested the remedy to get people back to Church was forgetting the Sacrament of Confession and coming up with a general absolution.

Why not just give out Reese's Peanut Butter Cups to 'absolve sins'?

Archbishop Paul-Andre Durocher of Gatineau, Quebec is a genuine imbecele. One of his suggestions was 'female deacons'.

Some invalid matter ought to liven things up.

His three-minute screed was dedicated to letting women take over all the roles in the Church. Everything but the golf tournaments, LOL.

And this guy was evidently head of the Canadian Conference of Bishops. God help the Canadians.

When things got too crazy, Pope Francis had to intervene on the interventions:

Pope Francis has told bishops taking part in a Church review of family teachings that its stance on the indissolubility of marriage was not up for discussion, despite hopes of an opening towards remarried divorced people

The pontiff, who was not expected to address the global synod on the family on Tuesday, spoke out after concerns among conservatives over a bid by liberals to allow remarried divorced people to take communion.

Very encouraging!

He's getting a real education on breathtaking stupidity of bishops.

Maybe now he finally understands what we're talking about.

So far, so good!

Cardinal Erdo's Opening Statement - TADA!

I don't know about you, but Cardinal Erdo's Opening Statement was a very pleasant surprise!

And I do mean very.

Crux seems to be caught a little off-guard and is painting the situation almost as if Pope Francis and the renegades are fighting to institute gay marriage and approve multiple marriages - and along came Cardinal Erdo to undermine him.

I don't know about 'dat. Seems possible to me that our messages could have been heard loud and clear, they have no intention of a repeat performance and the unified statement will be consistent with Cardinal Erdo's beautiful articulation of Church teaching. Time will tell.

Pope Francis opening statement today does give the wingnuts a little more hope, but when read in the context of his opening Mass homily, again, I am not so sure he's saying what they think he is saying.

There are a few doozies.

For instance:

Francis urged bishops at the start of a three-week gathering, known as a synod, to humbly empty themselves of conventions and prejudices. They should not "point fingers at the others to judge them" or feel superior to those with different ideas.

If somebody's 'ideas' are the same 'ideas' that are in the Catechism, those 'ideas' are actually 'superior' to Cardinal Kasper's 'ideas'.

In a passage that appeared to be directed at unbending traditionalists, the pope said bishops should beware the "hardening of some hearts, which despite good intentions, keep people away from God".

When an ordained man asks us to commit mortal sin, 'hardening of the heart' to those ideas is the appropriate response.

Did the Church's teaching on contraception keep me away from God?

It did. But that's the design of God Himself.

If a prodigal son runs away because he want's to get drunk and sleep around, the father doesn't invite him back by saying he will lift prohibitions and his household will 'accompany' him in drunkenness and prostitution so he will come back to the house.

It is the Church that questions itself on its fidelity to the deposit of the faith, so that it does not represent a museum to be looked at or only to be safeguarded, but a living spring from which the church drinks to quench thirst and illuminate the deposit of life,” the pontiff said of the Synod

The Deposit of Faith is based upon unchanging truth and it is the job of a Pope to safeguard and preserve the truth. If that makes him feel like a curator in our truth museum, so be it.

Maybe this is wishful thinking, but this might turn out ok after all.

This is kinda fun.

With no prompting, Francis tells Coiro that the local Church in Chile has “lost its head,” allowing a group of politicians to judge a bishop “with no proof whatsoever.”

“Think with the head, don’t be led around by the nose by these leftists who are the ones who put this [opposition] together,” the pope is heard saying.

I don't know the specific details of this, but it is common to accuse anyone who stood in the same room with a pedophile and breathed the same oxygen of 'cover up'.

The only word missing is moonbats.

Pope Francis's homily at the opening Mass was an outstanding defense on the sanctity of the Sacrament of Marriage.

The Holy Father said that it was in this “extremely difficult social and marital context” that the Church was to carry out her mission in fidelity, truth and love.”

He said that the Church must be faithful to her Master’s voice and in so doing defend the sacredness of life, the unity and dissolubility of marriage, and be a sign of God’s grace and of the human ability to love seriously.

The truth, Pope Francis said, is not changed by passing fads or popular opinions. “The truth which protects individuals and humanity as a whole from the temptation of self-centredness and from turning fruitful love into sterile selfishness, faithful union into temporary bonds.”

Many other solid things were said but he left a door open for the Kasper proposal, IMO:

Speaking about the Church’s mission “in charity” Pope Francis used the image of a mother “conscious of her duty to seek and care for hurting couples with the balm of acceptance and mercy.” He spoke of the Church as a “field hospital” with “doors wide open to whoever knocks in search of help and support.”

The Holy Father said that the Church teaches and defends fundamental values yet does not forget “the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.” (Mk 2:27) He also reminded us that Jesus said: “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Mk 2:17).

At the end of the homily Pope Francis quoted Pope St. John Paul II: “Error and evil must always be condemned and opposed; but the man who falls or who errs must be understood and loved… we must love our time and help the man of our time.” He said that the Church must search out these persons to welcome and accompany them and not become a “roadblock” but a “bridge.”

His main talking points are true but there's a little too much ambiguity here given the Kasper proposals and antics of last year's synod.

I am clueless what closed doors and roadblocks he's talking about.

People walked out because they were told they couldn't teach it was ok to sleep around or use contraception. If they're told the Holy Father is going to remove or silence that 'roadblock', of course they will come back. Allowing ordained men to practice the 'kasper proposal' makes teaching and defending Church teaching and opposing and condemning error and evil, impossible.

We've been there done that. The results are in. It has bred an catastrophic epidemic of diabolical disorientation of the catechized and there are a handful of people left in the pews.

A "Committee" of Foxes Appointed to Guarantee Safety of the Henhouse

The bishops held a conference yesterday to assure all of us of the integrity of the Synod.

Don't worry folks: They have assembled a Committee to ensure it will not be manipulated!

Anyone with any experience with internal corruption knows what that means. They have stacked the Committee with people who will deliver the outcome and they want to give the appearance it's an innocent and honest pursuit of truth!

Same old tricks.

Hillary White says it better than I can:

In other words, the committee which is supposed to give us confidence that no manipulation is taking place includes the very men most implicated in the manipulation.

Insidious.

I remember my first encounter with the phenomenon of a stacked 'committee'. It's a little bit of a story, but it's worth explaining for those who have not experienced it.

My experience was back when they couldn't own up to the real of cause of the sex scandals, i.e., their 'respect' for the actions of their priests taking male lovers without getting into the nitty gritty of how old the recipients of priestly lust actually were.

Instead of owning up to the real problem of addictions, investigate their own priests to find out who was sleeping with whom and take corrective actions, they came up with the sleazy idea to bring in a Kinsey sex program that explains to children (starting in kindergarten) detailed pornographic stories of parents and trusted relatives performing rapes upon them -- and placed the bishops as people who were here to protect them from their pervert relatives.

They are always there to lend the family a helping hand!

There was not a single story of the priests putting hands down their pants or luring them into a sexual relationship and the good ole boy network that 'respects' it!

I can't get into details about how this 'fix' materialized, but suffice it to say Richard McBrien gathered a group of gay priests in the Archdiocese of Boston and held meetings with Adultery with Dignity, women priests groups who simulate sacraments, "Reverend" Debra Haffner, former CEO of SEICUS which promoted masturbating your newborn infants, encouraging children perform sexual acts upon each other as young as kindergarten - and the like. When the chaos started, they attempted to convince the bishops to use this program to 'protect the little children'.

A group of parents in Boston whose children were sexually demoralized by the same priests had been tailing them, going to the meetings as moles and documenting what was going down. These meetings took place long before the sexual debauchery hit the newspapers. (Several of the law firms that later became players attended some of these meetings.

They did not know the specifics of what was going down, but they knew these priests were working on a major project that would a) help them to come out of the closet, as Fr. Krysztof Charamsa did this week; and b) implement the catechetical agenda going down at the Synod (at the diocesan level).

Richard McBrien, of course, was living with his female lover. There was a small element of heterosexual priests who had lovers or wanted to take lovers also involved in the mutually beneficial 'fix'.

I had just started blogging as a mother who encountered poor catechesis at several parishes. The number of people who contacted me to give me information on what was happening in their parish and on the diocesan level was overwhelming. I would get big huge packages of paper trails delivered to my doorstep a few times a week.

I had no idea the situation was this bad. I spent a year or so trying to help people report and manage these situations, trying to keep up with the six foot waves of documentation, picking what to blog, how to make good use of my time, how to manage my own chores as a single mother.

When the Kinsey program was getting traction in the Chancery, I eventually reduced the materials to an inch thick of documentation, created binders and contacted them. Cardinal Law was the Archbishop when I first met with Chancery luminaries. I had several years of contacting him about shenanigans at the parish level. Through the years, without exception, whatever was happening would be stopped within a week. People removed.

I knew Cardinal Law as a man serious about his duties, a good shepherd. I showed him the materials and he knew what it was right away. But he was gone within a few weeks and I had to make an appointment with the next Bishop, Bishop Lennon.

I was a self-employed single mom, took a day off from earning money for my children, spent four hours in traffic getting to the Chancery. When I got there, I was told I was meeting with somebody from the Chancery staff. I met with him, went through the binder.

I was told they were...wait for it...putting together a committee and had the honor of being an appointee!

As I was trying to process what in blazes was going on, I was able to collect myself enough to say: "This doesn't need a committee. I need a half hour with the bishop to show him what is going down and then he needs to take corrective actions to prevent children from the trauma of being subjected to being told their trusted relatives are rapists and given pornographic stories about what we're going to do to them. The problem is you have priests having sex with lovers and you are not monitoring or taking actions when reported to you. These reports go all the way up to the Vatican and the only thing the whistleblower gets is slander and bullying. I don't see any stories about that in these materials."

I asked who else was on the 'committee'. When he told me, I said: 'You want me to leave my family, waste money and time for months coming to meetings, when we all the know the decisions have already been made, the committee is stacked and you want my name published on a consensus that implements this perverted and damaging program.' He had the decency to nod his head yes.

After all of the voices we raised in the public square about the scandalous synod, I am positively mystified as to why they would perform this magic trick.

Do they not know how they repeatedly demonstrate they are not acting in good faith?

Do they think we are stupid?

Do they think parents are going throw their children's salvation into the toilet and go along with their clap-happy friends with benefits policy, when the pope tries to sell it to us as a welcome to the Catholic Church program?

We are from the Vatican and we are here to help

The week we have been dreading is finally upon us.

I had a good laugh when I came across Hillary White's Live Blogging the Apocalypse

I totally get why she quit and know several other Catholic journalists who just couldn't stand the dishonesty and cultish cover ups.

Oakes at Mahound's Paradise has an outstanding post on the demise of Catholic journalism.   Actually First Things would never own up to it's Catholic identity. I suppose it just never felt right while shilling to put contradictions to Church teaching into practice.

I'm glad to see Hillary back to take on this project.

A few other interesting little tidbits as we await the Holy See helping us all out by introducing heresy and asking our children to practice it instead of the tools that give them Sanctifying Grace.

First, Austin Ruse is reporting that Pope Francis himself initiated the meeting with Davis.

This is really interesting.

If true, that would make Fr. Lombardi a significant player in the lavender mafia.  I guess I am at the point where nothing will shock me... But Austin's version makes the pope an impotent party in an uncontrollable coup. In reality, if Fr. Lombardi spoke for the lavender militia, a pope in control of his see would terminate him from his position and give him a brush to clean tourist toilets.

That's all it would take.   "You're fired dude.  This is my show and I get to calibrate the talking points.  You don't take orders from anyone else.  Here's your new digs in the dungeon and your toilet brush."

Like children, the first one you do it to, the others realize a line in the sand has been drawn and they won't step over it.

After the scandal of pedophiles controlling the power, I find it hard to believe the pope has no control over the corrupt.  Yet, I think Austin's sources could be right on the money.

Whatever the story, it's clear there is something insidious afoot in the chambers of the Holy See.  Some of the players have shown their face.   Others are working covertly.    With several years of listening to what the Pope said and hasn't said, if he isn't with them, he might as well be.

Now we suffer the indignity of watching them parade heretics before the world and instruct them to follow their ideas instead of Church teaching.   Compounded by the morons telling us the Holy Father didn't change Church teaching so it will have no impact upon the people we love, it's going to be a tough week.

Keep calm and stay close to the Sacraments.

BREAKING DEVELOPMENT:

Yesterday, we learned a priest in the CDF, Fr. Krzystof Charamsa, declared his homosexuality and demanded Church teaching change.

This morning we learn that he's been relieved of his duties in the CDF.

Take note of Fr. Lombardi's statement:

With regard to the declarations and interview given by Msgr. Krzystof Charamsa it should be observed that, notwithstanding the respect due to the events and personal situations, and reflections on the issue, the decision to make such a pointed statement on the eve of the opening of the Synod appears very serious and irresponsible, since it aims to subject the Synod assembly to undue media pressure. Msgr. Charamsa will certainly be unable to continue to carry out his previous work in the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and the Pontifical universities, while the other aspects of his situation shall remain the competence of his diocesan Ordinary.

Here's your toilet brush. Sacking him was exactly what was needed.

The guy even announced he had a lover and had written a 'sexual minority' liberation policy.

Charamsa, 43, and a Polish theologian, announced he was gay and had a partner in a long interview with Italy's Corriere della Sera newspaper on Saturday.

He later held a news conference with his partner, a Spanish man, and gay activists at a Rome restaurant. They had planned a demonstration in front of the Vatican but changed the venue several hours before it was due to have started.

He must have been dating his Spanish Lolita openly in Rome and they turned a blind eye until he called the newspapers to make a circus out of it. Same old disgusting lack of accountability.

Check this out:

The Vatican said Charamsa's dismissal had nothing to do with his comments on his personal situation, which it said "merit respect".

That's right. Priests sleeping around with their male lovers 'merits respect'. So long as they don't call the newspapers to disclose it. Had he kept his sleeping around under the radar, everything would be all right.

Some things never change!

UPDATE Here's another article regurgitating Fr. Lombardi's statement that the Holy See is ok with the sexual debauchery of priests, it was the timing of this bloat's press conference that infuriated them:

It was the timing of Charamsa's action rather than the substance of what he said that infuriated his superiors.

In its statement, the Vatican said "the decision to make such a pointed statement on the eve of the opening of the Synod appears very serious and irresponsible, since it aims to subject the Synod assembly to undue media pressure."

This leads me to wonder if they are checking IDs to ensure the recipients of the lust of their priests are at least of age.

Let's hope his removal is an indication that this year's Synod will be different. It's a fabulous kick off.

No pun intended.

One thing is certain: There has never been a greater need of prayer for the Holy Father. God only knows what is going on. Whatever it is, it isn't good.

Fasting and prayer!

"Vatican" says Pope Francis Meeting with Kim Davis Doesn't Mean He Endorses Church Teaching

I waited to comment on this story because I had a feeling the beezlebubs would clarify that the Pope doesn't endorse Church teaching on material cooperation with sin.

They proved my gut instincts to be correct.

Fr. Lombardi said Pope Francis didn't know who she was or what happened and whether the Pope wants to make sure everyone knows his meeting doesn't mean he endorses Church teaching that Catholics shouldn't enter into gay marriages or materially cooperate with them.
Ms. Davis — the Rowan County, Ky., clerk who defied a judges orders and refused to grant a marriage licenses to gay couples — was among the guests ushered into the Vatican’s embassy for a brief meeting with him, the Vatican said.

“The pope did not enter into the details of the situation of Mrs. Davis, and his meeting with her should not be considered a form of support of her position in all of its particular and complex aspects,” the Rev. Federico Lombardi, the Vatican spokesman, said in a statement released on Friday morning.

Ms. Davis’s case has become a focal point in the debate over the tensions between religious liberty and marriage equality in the United States.

This is complicated theology, but at this point it could be said that the people who are lured into the lascivious traps he is setting for them, are not fully accountable. By omission and commission, they are being deceived directly from the occupant in the Chair of Peter.

I don't have time to review this statement on the plane, but it seemed to me at the time to be saying people believe all kinds of stuff and should have conscience protection rights. He seemed to be keeping a distance from the substance of same sex marriage.

I keep going back to that initial invitation of Kasper and Pope Francis' endorsement of all Kasper's peculiar and heretical skullduggery and the suggestion we all endorse their asshat theology too.

When pigs fly brother.

More on this later.
